I went looking through new Comiket 106 albums, and been listening to this album in particular lately: https://kodamasounds.bandcamp.com/album/eclectic-resonance-paradise

So far my favorite is Shade in the Maris by HAGANE, but the entire album is worth a listen imo.

Another delight from the ol' clone hero library; don't think I'm getting a full combo any time soon but 97% sure ain't bad (MP4, 82.5MiB)

Just absolutely delicious stuff, tickles my brain real good.

Forgive the double post but I couldn't not share this; it's rare to find a mashup album with an actual narrative thread and this one delivers in spades:

the artistry on display here includes the subtitles, so turn those on if you're watching on youtube! and if you watch this outside of youtube's normal web player, i recommend using these subtitles i converted to ASS with color and position data preserved from the original SRV3 using this two-part ffmpeg patch that hasn't landed in avcodec yet (and thus isn't in any other video players).

and thoroughly seconded - i've shown this to a few folks already and they all almost immediately went back for a second watch after the first pass. mashup album of all time. there's an incredible amount of care and detail here

Love Katie Dey very much, esp for the way she brings together the acoustic and raw with the artificial and distorted, in her vocals and her instruments.

I'm such a goober lol I'm not christian but I sure was singing along with O Holy Night automatically

this album was a really nice listen! even if that one track activates my metaphorical xmas-music fight-or-flight reflex, lol. i always like albums that are just a collection of unreleased demos from over the years, you end up with a nice eclectic mix of how they've developed as an artist
